Fire headgear

Fire headgear is a protective headgear used by firefighters to extinguish fires. It is a protective equipment worn by firefighters to protect the head, sides and neck from flame burns or high temperature scalds during firefighting operations.

Principles and functional characteristics of fire hoods:

Generally, fire hoods are knitted with flame-retardant materials, which are not irritating to human skin and have the function of keeping warm and absorbing sweat. The size of the firefighter's protective headgear can cover the entire head, extend to the wearer's shoulders, and have close contact with the wearer's face, moderately tight, and coordinated with the air respirator mask. Headgear can be divided into three types: large, medium and small.

The protective area uses a single-layer fabric headgear, and the unit area mass of the fabric should not be less than 400 g/m2.

The protective area adopts a headgear with two or more layers of fabric, and the mass per unit area of ​​the fabric should not be less than 200 g/m2.

Instructions:

Put the headgear on the head first, and surround the neck through the face opening so that the head can protrude through the face opening. Put on the respirator mask again, and then pull up the opening of the headgear so that the face edge of the headgear covers the edge of the respirator mask.
